🧠 Did You Know?

A 15-year-old once hacked NASA!
In 1999, Jonathan James, a teenager from the U.S., pulled off one of the most shocking cyber intrusions in history. Using only a regular computer and internet connection, he managed to breach NASA’s secure computer systems.
Jonathan accessed and downloaded source code for the International Space Station (ISS), which NASA valued at $1.7 million. The stolen code was essential for controlling critical life-support systems like temperature and humidity aboard the ISS.
As a result of this breach, NASA had to shut down its entire network for 21 days to investigate and fix the vulnerabilities. This downtime cost NASA approximately $41,000 in damages and repairs.
This real-life incident shocked the world and proved that even the most high-tech systems can be vulnerable to cyberattacks.
πŸ” Cybersecurity is more important than ever.
Whether you’re NASA or a regular user, protecting your data is critical.
